When the harvest season comes every year, the workload of the harvester unit is very heavy, so the harvester often breaks down. In this case, it is often necessary to purchase harvester accessories. However, there are often problems in purchasing harvester accessories, such as quality problems, matching problems, price problems and so on. Here are some tips for you when purchasing harvester accessories.
1. Choose a manufacturer
When purchasing harvester parts, it is best to purchase spare parts from local parts franchise points or agricultural machinery parts companies with reputation and regular purchase channels according to the brand of your own harvester. Authentic products generally have good packaging quality, complete with certificates of conformity, manufacturer name, factory address and date of manufacture.
Remember not to buy “three noes” accessories, in case they are counterfeit and shoddy products and cannot be used.
2. For the model
When purchasing harvester spare parts, you must accurately remember the model, specification and drawing number of the original spare parts. If possible, it is best to bring the replaced old parts for comparison when purchasing, so as not to choose wrongly.
If there are several manufacturers of spare parts of the same model, try to choose products from the same manufacturer as the original parts to facilitate matching.
3. Appearance
When purchasing spare parts, check whether there are defects such as blisters, cracks, defects, scratches, rust, etc., and whether the joint surfaces are smooth and clean, and whether there are burrs at the transition.
4. Size
Measuring tools such as steel tapes and vernier calipers can be used to check whether the installation, fit and shape and size of accessories meet the requirements.
When purchasing shaft spare parts, you should focus on checking the shaft diameter and the straightness of the shaft where it fits with the bearing. If there is no vernier caliper, the following method can be used to check the shaft diameter. Take a bearing that is used in conjunction with the shaft diameter, align it with the journal of the test shaft, and apply pressure by hand to make it fit. The force should be uniform and not deflected. Then judge according to the press-in situation: if it can be pressed to the installation position, it means that the outer diameter of the journal is too small and the fit is too loose; If it falls off, it means that the outer diameter of the journal is too large and the fit is too tight. The ideal fit is that the inner ring of the bearing can be pressed into the journal for a certain length, the shaft is erected so that the bearing is facing down, and the upper end of the shaft is tapped by hand, at this time the bearing will not fall off the journal.
When purchasing a harvester cutter, you should focus on checking the straightness of the knife beam, knife bar and several working gaps. Push the power until the center line of the moving blade coincides with the center line of the blade guard. At this time, the gap between the front end of the moving blade and the blade guard is not greater than 0.5mm, and the gap between the rear end is not greater than 1.5mm, and the number must not exceed 1/3 of the total; The gap between the blade presser and the moving blade is not more than 0.5mm, and there should be no stagnation when pushing and pulling the cutter by hand. It is a qualified cutter if the above conditions are met, otherwise do not buy it.
